4．The application form for the “Turnitin account” for postgraduate students. [attached file] （1）Postgraduate students ought to apply for the account at least three days before the examination date. After application, the applicant would receive the link from the library within three days and be able to activate the account officially. （2）Please search the “Turnitin Thesis Originality Comparison System” on the website of the NTNU library. （3）After the comparison, please save the "current viewing result" pages as PDF files. Send an email about the result to the department contact staff when applying for the thesis/dissertation oral examination and graduation procedure. Meanwhile, please print pages 1-2 of the result, including the name, comparison date, the information on the thesis’s cover, and the percentage of comparison, etc. (No need to print the entire book). Send all the files to the department office.
5．Application for the dissertation proposal/examination （1）Since August 2022, students should apply online for the proposal / final oral examination. Please login to the student account → https://iportal.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnu/ → Student Affairs Related System → Application for Final Oral Examination （2）Please apply for the next-month exam by the 15th of the previous month, and mark the estimated graduation month and year. The deadline is November 15th in the first semester and April 15th in the second semester. Those who plan to take the exam in January should apply before November 15th, and those who plan to take the exam in July should apply before April 15th. （3）Master and doctoral program students in the daytime department, please apply for and hand over the files to the contact staff, Ms. Yin-Ling, Lin (gracelin@ntnu.edu.tw. In-service master program students in the night department, please apply for and hand over the files to the contact staff, Ms. You-Chen, Chen (kinkilover@ntnu.edu.tw).

7．Thesis/Dissertation Format Review Form. [attached file] According to the resolution passed by the Department Affairs Committee on March 2, 2023, the department will conduct two rounds of thesis format review. If more than 30 formatting errors are found during the second review, the student must seek assistance from an external professional consulting service or have their advisor review the format.
